Cartier La Panthère Eau de Parfum Women's Perfume 50ML pack
Launching in March 2014, La Panthère is Cartier's new women's fragrance.
It takes inspiration from the symbol of the brand itself and from the 1986 Panthère de Cartier perfume; it was also the nickname of Cartier's lover and muse, Jeanne Toussaint.
This new perfume wants to be a symbol of freedom: it represents an independent, elegant and rebellious woman.
Created by Mathilde Laurent, the composition is a sensual and bold floral-powdery, with heart notes of gardenia and musk. It opens with fruity-green notes, with nuances of rhubarb, strawberries, dried fruit, apple and apricot; the heart is dominated by gardenia, chosen as the main flower to avoid an excessive oriental character and because it is not very common in modern perfumes; Ketone musk and oakmoss finally give the powdery character.
The golden-toned bottle, simple and at the same time luxurious, reveals the stylized face of a panther, giving the whole a truly special signature and character.
The model Erin Wasson, famous for her 'cat' face and bohemian style, was chosen as the testimonial.
